Greg Rouchon, DVM

Dr. Rouchon received a Bachelor of Science in both Biomedical and Veterinary Science from Texas A&M University. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) in 1987 from Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Rouchon began to practice small animal internal medicine and surgery in San Antonio, TX (at an emergency hospital) for one and a half years.

After being appointed Chief of Medicine and Surgery at a private practice in 1989, Dr. Rouchon decided to relocate to the DFW area to begin his small animal practice at the Valley Ranch Pet Clinic, which he eventually purchased in 1993. He strives to maintain advanced veterinary medical skills by completing at least 25 hours of continuing education each year. His furry family includes a small colony of feline rescues who have truly found paradise at the Rouchon cat sanctuary, complete with a leather couch, air purifier, and flat-screen TV.
