Tina Capps, DVM

Chief of Staff

Dr. Tina Capps graduated in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in both Veterinary Science and Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University. She then went to Texas A&M Veterinary College and received her doctorate in 1996.  Dr. Capps started her veterinary career in Southlake before joining the team at Valley Ranch Pet Clinic in 1997.

?Dr. Capps enjoys both surgery and internal medicine but has a special interest in cardiology.  She introduced ultrasound to Valley Ranch Pet Clinic and continues to use this in her practices.  Recently, Dr. Capps has become certified in stem cell therapy and offers this in addition to her traditional practice.

?Dr. Capps was voted one of “America’s Top Veterinarians” (in 2007 and 2008) by The Consumers Research Council of America for small animal medicine. She enjoys a wide variety of hobbies such as cycling, photography, and winemaking.  Her favorite hobby, however, is hanging out with her son Jaxon and their varied four-legged friends.
